Sunday, May 11- Happy Mother's Day! - From JENN
Hello everyone! I'm writing to you from an internet cafe in Kaduna. We have just walked through the market place in downtown were we found some exquisite fabrics! 2,000 Naira or about $20. We are very much looking forward to moving on to our next destination: Jos. Then we are on to Bauchi, then Yankari Game Reserve, and Gombe. Then a long drive to Kano, down to Zaria and then fly back out to Lagos from Abuja. This trip has been so amazing so far. In our time in Kaduna, we have seen an HIV hospital, an orphanage, and spent time in the classrooms of a public primary school and a federally funded polytechnical secondary school. We have also attended much of the Rotary District Conference. Each of our nights in our home stays have been preceded by a cocktail party, gala event, multicultural event, and a host hopitality evening. Tomorrow morning before our departure, we all hope to partipate in a Polio Immunization Day initiative- giving live-saving drops to babies and children~! Love to All!

Thank you so much for all of your elaborate descriptions of what you are doing and where you have been. I may never get to travel like you are but I have been sharing all that you are doing with friends and family; you are fast becoming the most envied person I know. Keep up the learning and sharing. We have lots of listening ears and hugs waiting when you get back too!
Jenn, please call home.
Love you and miss you like crazy,
Jessy
Hey Lady,
Lisa and I are together today. I needed a babysitter for myself according to Shane (I am not to be let alone).
We just wanted to send you our best wishes and hope that you are having fun. Look for more pictures of the babies soon.
If you need us to do anything let us know.
Love
Lisa and Alice

Hi Jenn,
The itinerary sounds amazing (followed or not). That is part of the adventure. It must be wonderful to soak up the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of Nigeria. I envy your walk in the market! Take care. Burke Sunrise looks forward to seeing you soon. Enjoy every minute!
